Adding fabric chairs with ivory color sofa
    Hi,
I have an Ivory color sofa in my living room. I want to add more seating space with chairs. Can I put fabric accent chairs with leather sofa? Does fabric chairs go with leather? What things should I keep in mind to keep the flow. I also want to add some color in the room.

Ivory is beautiful, you could add almost any color. Yellows/golds, deep blue reds oranges deep rich colors with ivory would be pretty in a modern design. Maybe you could get a few throw pillows to put on the couch... even if you could not get the same fabric you could get solids of each color in the fabric. Even a throw to lay on one side of the couch.

Sure you can mix fabric and leather furniture is you colors blend. Since the sofa ivory you have a wide range to go with. What color are the walls and carpet or flor. Using these choose color that complements and blends.

I have a olive and black fabric sofa , black leather side chairs. My carpet is cream the walls an olive taupe color. My drapes are cream with black ,olive stripes.

So use the other elements in your space to choose your accent colors.

If your leather is a solid ivory, you can go with striped, printed, or solid accent chairs... especially with getting a few throw pillows in the same fabric as the chairs. Whatever you decide to do, get those throw pillows... they will tie everything together!

I have an ivory sofa too and LOVE it! :) Its so versatile! And with my personality... versatile is very good!

I agree with all of the above suggestions..

G's & HC's suggestion for throw pillows is a wonderful idea, especially doing it with the same fabric matching them.

You could always have a different solid color for the febric chair and add ivory throw pillows.

And like MdQ said, you could always use mixed fabrics to match the colors within the room itself by highlighting certain colors depending on your preference for a cool look or warm interiors.

I found these pillows beautiful and striped as you like them.:)
