    Whey protein:can it harm me?
I am 15 years old and I am hooked on whey protein simply because (I think)it tastes good after my workout and it speeds my recovery with fast digesting protein. I get EAS 100% whey protein and only take it after my work out. I am wondering if it is true that the whey can get "stuck" in your kidneys or stomach area and create a "bloated" effect. I fear having a bloated stomach. I am also wondering about the quality of the whey products. I got the EAS 2 lb for 11 dollars. What is the difference in quality between my $11 whey and the $45 whey I can also find on line? Any recommendations?

Yes, it can cause kidney and/or liver damage when used in excess, especially when your body is still growing as it is at 15 years old.

Protein is to be used in moderation just like any other supplement. If used too much you can run a greater risk of developing diabetes in your adulthood.

"in excess", does that mean too much for the individual or used at every meal?
I don't take it every day; should I?
