    Foot Pain
    Hi, I just started training for my fourth marathon and I have been running every day for about an hour... yesterday the outer side (from my pinky to the back of my heel) of my left foot began to hurt... It almost felt like every time I stepped on the pavement there was a bone that was about to crack... It was very painful and had to walk the rest of the way back. I know that I need to get new shoes but could it be more than that? I also wear heels at work all day and am wondering if that combined with needing new shoes is the problem or if I need to go to a doctor. Only thing is today, as I wear heels at work... my foot feels fine, but when I walked in sandals this morning, I was in pain. Please let me know any thoughts on this. Thank you!!

    I had a pain like this when I danced ballet and the doctor x-rayed my foot and I had stress fractures.

    I recommend having your doctor look at your foot ;)
