    Creatine and Whey Protein
I've been working out for about 2 months now approx 4 times per week and I need to start using supplements as I don't feel I'm getting the results I should be for the effort I'm putting in, but my question is Can I use creatine before I work out and take whey protein after I work out?

Creantine is a natural component (skeltal muscle), it helps the body perform extra work, it's a good dietary supplement in my opinion. But when you take this you need to know exaclty how much to take according to your needs, and you should include vitamin B along with it, something to look into. Whey protein is pure from cows milk and again great for sports nutrition. Along with a natural and healthy diet these products should help you. :)

Thanks for your reply, so its OK to use both I wasn't sure if they might cancel each other out , I believe its better to take creatine before a workout with some kind of sports drink for best results? What do you think?

Try just using the creatine and see how you feel after a few days, but again make sure your taking the correct amount for your weight. As far as sports drinks, when you exercise heavily, you lose water and salts, and in this sense there good, they give you the neede electrolytes and carbs, but sports drinks don't hydrate better then water, but you probably will drink more of the sports drinks -- so that is better for rehydration. Just keep liquids go in!! ;)

Thanks again, OK just one more question, I've got creatine capsules and directions are 6 a day 3 before exercise and 3 after, do I just take all 3 at once before and if so how long before and afterwards do I take them before the whey protein or after? Sorry to bother you but you seem quite up on this subject, Thanks

Do exactly what it says, the three caps should be taken, one a time before you start. And then 3 when your done, wait a bit then take the whey, (2 hrs or less after exercise.) Or you can take 1/2 the whey before you start and 1/2 after your finished. If you find with the dosage of creatine that your getting cramps reduce the dosage. But other then that don't take more then it suggest. Drinking water or non acidic juices is really best when taking it also. Hope this helps! The creatine increses lean muscle mass pretty quicky, after a few weeks generally, so good luck!! ;)

This is the answer I'm talking about, Whey protein is a rich protein, it also has essential amino acids made from cows milk. Whey Protein Isolate is the purest form it's got 90% more protein and very little fat and lactose, With creatine you need to take a good B vitamin supplement. The powered version is absorbed more quick into the bloodsteam then the capsule version, but they have the same results. ;)
