    Cash Dividends
    Good evening!

I'm just confused in finding cash dividends where the preference shares is given but the ordinary shares is not. I.e:

10%, Preference shares, Cumulative, Participating, 100,000 shares issued and outstanding, 10 pesos par.

Since, the preference shares is participating, ordinary shareholder are given their initial share.

The question: how should be the remainder allocated to ordinary and what amount would you base the preference rate in getting the shares for ordinary?
