    What is this about?
The City of HENDERSON has had the following revenue history for
its auto parking fees. Based on this history and no increase in
rates, what do you estimate fees to be next year? Years 19X0-
19X3 are actual receipts. You have nine months' experience in
the current budget year and must estimate the last three months'
    experience.
    ACTUAL
    19*0 $115,000
    19*1 123,000
    19*2 129,000
    19*3(EST)

    19X3 ACTUAL + ESTIMATED
    9 MONTHS 3 MONTHS
    $104,490

    1900 115,000
    1901 123,000

To get from 1900 to 1901, there is a 6.96% increase.

    1902 129,000

To get from 1901 to 1902, there is a 4.88% increase.

Therefore, this pattern suggests that the increase will decline by 2.08% per year.

    Therefore, to get 1903 number's, we must increase 1902 by 2.80% (4.88-2.08)

    Therefore, 1903 = 129,000 x 1.0280 = 132,612

If so far in the first 9 months of 1903, you have collected $104,490……that will mean that in the last 3 months, you are due to collect $28,122
