    Reasons of using cola fund to increase operating cost
    Yes I'm trying to state some solid reasons we need this cola funds to increase operating cost instead of increasing salaries and fringe beneftis.

    Please do not double-post your questions.

    This is a political question not an accounting one. No company "needs" to increase operating costs so it's impossible to answer the way you asked it.

    It's called charity. Since you think this is one of those big bad companies that treats its employees like crap by not paying them more, somehow I suspect you're the same type of person who would think they were a horrid company if they didn't have any charity for others in trouble. Hmm? Big corporations always seem to be darned if they do and darned if they don't.
