    population correlation for monthly data
    I have 2 variables x and y (x,y: represents the total number of some items)
    for 12 months

    example

    month x y
    Jan 12 15
    Feb 10 20
    Mar 16 7

    can I make population correlation for those since they are represented as totals fir each month??
