    Homework help with Excel re: required rates of return
    Does anyone know what the formula in Excel is to calculate a required rate of return? My text only provides an example for a calculator, which I do not have. Thank you.

    That's because you have to write it with the tools you have available... based on what you are needing.

    You can also use the help function on excel to help you find it.
