    Adjusting Entries
Hoping someone can check my answer for a homework question. They did not give much info, so I want to verfiy I am correct (for example: not sure if the month a pre-paid rent hits, if it deducts that month).

    Thanks in advance!

    - May 1, prepaid for 6 months
    - On June 30, $7,200 left in the prepaid account (4 months remaining).

    7,200 / 4 = 1,800

Therefore, the monthly rent expense is $1,800
