Wisconsin Statute listing distances for visitation and between housholds
    Hello,
I am looking for the statutes defining how far the divorced parents can live from each other in Wisconsin.

    Also,

Information on the distances each divorced parent should/must travel for visitations.

    Situation:
Divorced parents; we live about 120 miles apart. We have been meeting at the half way point.

I doubt if this is covered by statue. Its usually an issue of negotiation in the divorce decree.

Was the arrangement you describe ordered by the court or one that you've agreed to yourselves? If you've agreed to it yourselves then there's really no need to worry about the statutes addressing the issue, if there even are any. If you're not satisfied with this arrangement and it was court-ordered, then there's little you can do to change it. If it wasn't court ordered, then it's unlikely that a judge would change it since it actually sounds very fair and equitable. If you are the custodial parent and want to move farther away, that could be a problem if the non-custodial parent objects.
