    I need to know if I was left money in a will if the other family members could take it on me?

    Hello m:

    Are you asking can they "legally" take it from you, or if they're the executors can they steal it?

    The answer to both questions is no. But just because it's not legal to do so, they might anyway. If it were me, I wouldn't leave anything to chance. I'd have my lawyer peering over their shoulders until I got my cash.

    But, that's just me. It's a lot easier than trying to get it back after someone has stolen it.
