    For future reference the subject line is not where you post your question its only for a brief description about your question. Also since this is a question about law its been moved from the Divorce forum. Finally ANY question about law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

    The answer to your question depends on several factors including the jurisdiction. Some areas might give you a second or even third chance to show up. Others will grant the plaintiff a divorce with all the stipulations they ask for.

    I would never recommend ignoring a court date.

    I receive a notice from the court saying that if I'd didn't show up for the divorce hear that it would be dismiss, dowse that mean we would be still married, or will she be granted a divorce, I live in Columbus, Ohio
