    Is There A Way?
I am 17 yrs old and my parents are getting a divorce. They agreed on joint custody, but I want to move out of Indiana to Utah to live with family. I want to live with my family in Utah. My father is not giving consent for me to move, but my mother agrees and says it fine. I pretty sure that both parents have to give consent. My father refuses to give consent because he has to pay child support, but its required by Indiana state law. Is there anyway I can move out to Utah without him giving consent? Any comments or advice would be helpful thanks much

You said your parents are "getting a divorce", if it is not final then you can ask to speak to the judge and give your desires and opinions. The judge will listen, especially because of your age, but the judge will ultimately decide what he/she feels is in your best interest. You can't move away though without your fathers consent, sorry.
