Taking a mans children away by boyfriend adopting
My son and his ex-wife have two children. 12 and 6. Mothers boyfriend is trying to adopt them and take them out of the country. My son has been paying child support but is behind. He was calling regularly until the kids started not to want to talk. When he calls the mother tells him they are eati g, they are in bed by 7pm. Or she's at work. They are trying to make it look like he has abandon them. He has not seen them in 2 yrs. He has supervised visitation, because at time of divorce he did drugs. But he doesn't have that problem now. He doesn't have tranportation and lives 7 hrs away. But she would not allow him to see them anyway. She is doing all she can to make him look unfit. Please tell me what can be done before they leave the country! My son doesn't make much
    Money to hire an attorney.

If there is a visitation order he needs to go back to court to enforce it. If she refuses to abide by the order he asks a court to hold her in contempt. He needs to document every time he tries to call or visit. Check local laws on whether he can record phone conversations.

But, as long as he is the legal father the fiancée can't adopt without his agreement.

So he needs to be refused visits and get the order modified. They can not adopt without him being notified and he can prove his case,

And, until an adoption has been ordered, they cannot get passports for the children without his consent. Without passports, they cannot be taken out of the country.
