Suboxone in a hair follicle test
Will one eight mg suboxone show up in a hair follicle drug screen? And does a court ordered drug screen even test for suboxone anyway?

How did you arrive at the amount of 1/8 mg of Suboxone?

In order for suboxone (actually buprenorphine (BUP)) to be detected it would require a 10 panel initial screen. 1/8 mg of Suboxone would result in a much smaller amount of BUP usually meaning it wouldn't be incorporated into the hair.

no... what I meant was.. if I took one weight mg sublingual film, will it show up in a hair follicle drug screen. And is it standard for a court ordered(like for child custody) drug screens to test for suboxone?

Do you regularly take Suboxone (sublingual or otherwise). This isn't a commonly abused drug. If it was one time use it should not show up in a hair test.

There is no standard test. There is no way of knowing what will be tested for. Your attorney should know in advance via information from the other party. Usually Suboxone will not be tested for but custody cases are sometimes search and destroy missions.

Ok... but what if it was one sublingual film cut up into pieces and taken periodically for a period of a few weeks. Again, this is only one eight mg sublingual film cut into probably one mg pieces and taken over several weeks time. Would it then show up in a hair follicle drug screen given it is a drug screen that DOES test for bup?
