    Spouse abuse
My son received a black eye curtesy from his wife. Their pastor was called as a mediator. She addmited that she did this to him and now a few weeks later she is accusing my son of grabbing her arm which he and my grandson said did not happen. They say that she actually slammed the door on his arm. They took him to jail and did nothing to her. I know first hand she is a liar because when she wanted me out of her house a few months before this my son said I was his guest she got angry and called the police and said he had a weapon which I promise is not true. Her Mother and sister are legally mentally unstable and I wonder of any of this can help his case. He does not want her to go to jail but he want the judge to see who the victim is. Please answer as soon as possible he has his arraignment today.

Does he have an attorney? An arraignment is simply the process of formalizing the charge and setting a trial. So, if the prosecutor is going as far as scheduling an arraignment it is going to trial.

Your son will then need an attorney to deal with it. The attorney should call the pastor, produce evidence of false police reports and mental instability to prove her claims wrong. If the evidence convinces a judge or jury, then the case should be dismissed.

But I think its time for your son to fish or cut bait. This marriage doesn't appear to be working and I would suggest its time to file for divorce.
