Hello I let the father of my kids take them until I got out of a abusive marriage and to keep them safe. I finally got away and fled to Wisconsin. But then I still had legal custody over my kids. Some how he got me to sign a paper where he has sole and I have them on the weekends. Ive been back to COURT over and over again. I was getting a divorce when I sign the papers I thought I was doing the right thing at the time until I got my life I was stable but I go through hell my kids life is bad with him the state I had come in and they said nothing. I WANT MY CHILDREN BACK IN MY CUSTODY I LOVE THEM AND I WOULD GIVE THE WORLD FOR THEM I WAS IN A BAD SITIATION IN MY ABUSIVE Marriage. HOW DO I GO BACK I LIVE IN MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN TO COURT TO GET MY KIDS BACK INTO MY CUSTODY

You NEED an attorney. I have no idea what you signed or how legal it was. But the only way you will regain custody of your kids is if you go to court and either enforce your existing rights or regain them.

You need to get an attorney to file a motion to revisit the custody matter in front of the judge who heard your divorce. I don't understand your rationale of leaving the kids with an abusive husband was helping them. In hindsight you should have taken them with you even if you had to live in a cardboard box. Once you sign over custody diminishing your portion, it's very hard to get it back again and you moved out of state.

If you read this more carefully you would see that se didn't leave them with an abusive husband. Se left them the children's FATHER while she got out of an abusive marriage. Obviously the abusive husband was not the father of the children.

Its not that easy signing over custody. We really don't know what the OP did or signed.
