    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    Second, there are many threads on this subject here in the Family law forum. I suggest you review them. But the bottom line is relinquishing parental rights is a serious business and rarely granted except when there eis someone waiting to adopt or the parent presents a danger to the child.

    If you want further help you need to give us more info.
