    Parental rights

I have full custody of my 2 children and my x husband does make his child support when he works but he makes no effort to see them or call them.. Just a brief note: He has a g/f with children and he took our children over x-mas and made his own children watch his g/f's kids open gifts.. He is a heavy drinker and into drugs..
I would like to know what I have to do to get his rights terminated, I have asked him out right but he says he will not sign off because he does not want my fiancé adopting his kids.. well my fiancé has never even suggested adoption, I want to just be done with the X and to stop the hurt he puts on his kids..

You have full custody and child support. If he makes no effort to call or see them, better for you. Leave it as such. If he insists on taking them and they refuse you do not have to force them. Have him make the legal move to petition the court for additional time.

You can go to court and petition it, but on what grounds? That he does not give them x-mas gifts? There has to be something more than that. Also you could be opening a can of worms. He may want more time.

    Good luck.
