    Pareental rights
    I have a friend who wants me to raise her child. How do we go about terminating parental rights for her (mother) and the (father).

    You will definitely need the assistance of a competent lawyer. This is not difficult if the parents will consent to having their parental rights terminated. If one, or both, are fighting the termination, one must have a lot of damaging evidence.

    You would be adopting the child basically, so you will need an attorney.
    And of course the father and mother will have to agree.
