I'm moving out of my girlfriend's and my house
I need to move out of a leased home shared by my girlfriend and myself. We share the rent and the lease is in both of our names. The utilities are in my name only but before
I call and have the service stopped, I want to make sure that giving her two weeks notice is enough time. I do not want to continue to pay for a place that I do not live in, however, since my name is on the lease, I do not think I have a choice.

I have the same situation and question. I need to leave quickly- my name is on the lease along with my husband on our apartment.. all the utilities are in my name. He will not let me work to pay the things I need to pay... I can have the utilities shut off but what do I do about the lease? If I leave, what trouble do I get in to? Anyone know?

Are all of girlfriend's fantasies acceptable? [ 5 Answers ]

I have been in a relationship for almost 2 years. Our sex life has never cooled despite the fact that we're busy with grad schools and interviews and she was only 1 year divorced when we met. One of many reasons for the continued "spark", I suppose is she is rather "open" and adventurous in...
