How can I sign over my perental rights to a family member?
I am in Texas and my husband and I are currently unable to care for our two children and want to sign over our parental rights to my husbands sister. What paperwork do I need to get this done asap? We are trying to do the right thing for our children and do not have the money to get an attorney and want to do the paperwork on our own if we can?

You understand that if you are giving up your parental rights, you are giving your children up for adoption, right?

Do you really want to permanently give your children to someone else? Or are you just looking to give a temporary guardianship?
