    Getting custody of grandson
My oldest son went to prison when he was almost 18. At the time he had a girlfriend who had a baby after he was incarcerated. WHich turned out to be his. He just turned 24 this year and is coming up for parole. I never saw my grandson until this past July. During the last 6 years she also had a child by another man. I live in another state with my youngest son. The mother of my grandson who is now 26 started visiting my son in jail this past spring & kept telling him she wanted to be with him when he got out yada. She came to where I live in August. The plan was he would be paroled here in January if he was released. She came to stay with the kids, was to get a job, start getting her life in order. He mother told me that the kids live have been pure turmoil since the day they were born. I just found out that she has been sleeping with my 17 year old son who may I remind you is the uncle to her son. IS there anything I can do? I friend of my sons who has lived with us for the last 3 years said he heard them as well as his girlfriend also heard them having sex. Quite heavily for the last 3 weeks or more. I saw them in bed together as well as my boyfriend also saw them. Other then this proof and some condom wrappers in the trash in his room. WHen I confronted them they took off to the state she was from with my son and her kids in the middle of the night. Is this enough to try to get custody of my grandson? What kind of proof is necessary? Are signed statements enough? I can not tell you how disgusted I am and how ill this makes me. There was also an enormous amount of drug use being done by the both of them. She would never get out of bed and watch her children and would take off in the middle of the night with my son. I was there of course to watch the kid but still. She never paid attention to them. Other people know this as well.

Frankly I doubt it. But your next recourse is to contact the children's services area where she now lives and report that she doesn't care for the children and that you are willing to foster at least your grandson.

Some of you will remember me posting about my grandson who lives with me. He had been doing quite well but had a bit of a relapse in January.
