    Full/Sole Custody
I'm a 23yr old father of 2. Me and my ex recently split because we became unhappy in our relationship.. It was a good break no fights no hate. My problem is I adore my babies I have a 1yr old daughter and 2yr old son who mean the world to me. Their mother is unfit, I have text messages from her admitting she has no patience for them, they ruin her life, how much she hates being a mom, how bad she wishes she didn't have kids, she even admitted that the only reason she won't give me the kids is because she'll get kicked out if her moms home if she gives up the kids.. Her and her mother have both threaten to have me killed both pulled knives on me both threatened to keep my kids from me. They have my kids living in a small crowded 2 bedroom apartment with 6 other people, it's dirty it's dangerous it's Infested with roaches and they have a dog that pees and poops on the floors where the kids play, on top of it all the dog has attached my son multiple times and in a time of about 4 months my son went to emergency 4 times, 2 for stitches on his head and mouth, 1 for cutting his tongue with dog nail clippers and 1 for busting his nose. Not to mention the home is constantly dirty the brothers an alcoholic who smokes weed with his girlfriend and the mother is an I'm Immagrant with only a working permit and visa.. I don't know what to do how to get them I want to get full custody ASAP without the mom finding out till the court date.. Help please?!

Call Child Protective Services. They can check on the conditions in the home.

I agree go to your local Family Services agency. Talk to a case worker. See if they can do a surprise inspection. Bring with you documentation of the emergency room visits. Tell them you want custody.

If the conditions are as you describe, they should remove the children, probably to your care. But I assume you work so you will need to show that you have someone to watch them during the day. Arrange for that in advance.
