Found out biological father 2 weeks ago, now wants every weekend?
I am in NH, as the baby's biological father is as well. We dated for 2 months, and I left him because I realised my heart was with my ex fiancé. Found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after the split. Once the baby was born I inbformed the ex I wanted to file papers for a dna test to make sure who the baby's father was. A number of events happened, and I procrastinated. He bought a home dna test we found out the result 2 weeks ago. He now wants and feels he has a right to every weekend. We have been text arguing over visitation and paperwork since. I told him I would sign with every other weekend until court and until the judge finalizes everything. I want the judge to make the final decision. He does not have a license, he needs to pay 800 to get it back, lives over an hour away from us, and is a convicted felon (sold to an undercover and 2 other related felonies). He lives with his mother (whom he is not supposed to be per her landlords lease stating if you have a felon you cannot live there, and he is not on the lease.)
He kept texting me an ungodly number of times after I asked for time to think things over. He is not unfit to raise a child, but has no idea on how to. I explained I needed to know that the baby was okay with him and he was okay with the baby, he needs to know his cries, how to use his nebulizer if he gets sick (had rsv in february). I believe that every other weekend fits well for the situation as I will be working in the next 2 weeks, my fiancé works full time, and the biological father has every 13 days 1 day off. (works 13 straight then 1 day off but apparently gets 1 day a weekend now). I feel if he is visiting grayson, they should spend quality time together, not just 4 hours before he goes to work and the baby is dumped on his mother until he gets out at 11pm, by that point the baby would be asleep already. He tells me I am making him depressed over this and I need to take that into consideration as well, and that it is not fair to the baby or him to not get to spend a lot of time together because they have alrady lost 6 months and 2 weeks. Says with every weekend I would get more days with the baby anyway.

I don't care about who gets our son longer, I don't care about the child support. I care about my 6 month old son, and his mental, physical, and emotional well being. I fear every weekend would be too stressful for a 6 months old to be swapped on and off immediately, to someone he doesn't even know. I am low income, cannot afford a lawyer, and am seeking pro bono. I am looking for sole physical custody with visitations. How do I go about this? I have filled out a data sheet and waiver sheet for the courts, as well as a parenting plan (in place of custody plan). I have a propsed doucment for parenting petition, but I need to know also if I absolutley have to have an attounrye sign those papers, or if I can just turn them in without one and get an attourney or a advocate later on down the road. Help please!!

Don't count on getting a pro bono attorney.

I would say "don't sign the papers until you get an attorney", but, realistically (as I just said), you can't count on getting one. Sign a parenting plan, but don't write the plan in such a way that, six months from now, you will be asking yourself "why did I agree to that?"
