    Child support
I am legally required to pay child support for my 9 year old daughter. The problem I have is my daughter lives with me full time. My ex wife does not pick her up when she is required to. Our order is supposed to be week on week off. In fact she only comes around once a week. I am also the residential parent over my daughter. My ex wife is willing to sign off on the support payments but will not go to court. How do I stop child support payments without using an attorney.

Have you modified the custody through the courts? Before your daughter moved in with you, there should have been a request filed with the court to modify custody. If it was not practical to do this before the change, then you should have done it immediately afterwards. At the same time, you should have filed for a change in the support order.

Bottomline is you have to go back to the court to modify the order before the agency will stop requiring that you pay them.
