You would have either accepted or been proven the father of the child if they got a court order for child support against you.

All you have to do is file for visits in the court. If somehow you allowed child support without proof, you can request a court order DNA to get the visits

First, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

Second, please define what you mean by legitimized? Before you can be ordered to pay child support you have to either acknowledge paternity to have a paternity test prove you are the father. Either way you would have to be declared the legal father to pay support.

Child support and visitation are separate. If you want visitation, once you are assigned as the legal father, you can petition the court for visitation rights.

I accepted cause they are mine but when we were in court for child support they stated that it was a different court for visitation rights.

So you don't have an attorney, the one court acceptance of paternity is a judicial ruling, showing you as father, thus you would have answered the other court that you are the father and use that court ruling as your evidence.

Of course if the judge does not accept it, ( and it appears the other party is objection I will assume) you merely file a motion for a DNA test to prove it.

And why is it a different court, you should be in the same jurisdiction that did the other child custody filings
