    California Uncontested Divorce with Children
Hi All, Thank you in advance for taking the time to help me through this. I filed for divorce back in 2006. At that time, he didn't respond to the initial petition and we later agreed to work things out. Since then we've had one more child, and have definitely decided to split. I amended the divorce petition and he has been served. My question is what forms do I need to submit to the court to enter default on the amended petition and finalize this divorce for once and for all? I have called the clerk's office and the self help center and I get contradicting information. He was served six months the amended petition six months and one week ago. How much longer until I can be divorced? I am doing this on my own as I can't afford to pay an attorney to do it, this would have been a breeze to finalize except now that I had to amend the petition and add one kid, no one seems to know the answer.
