    Adoption through marriage
    I'm engaged to be married and I have the intentions of adopting my soon to be husbands daughter but the mother isn't alive how do we go about the adoption process, this is our first marriage and we want to do the adoption before we have kids together

    It varies somewhat by State. There should be no problems, other than some States require that you are married for a specific time before you can adopt.
