There are various flavors of IRS Form 1099, but I don't believe money paid pursuant to a divorce settlement has to be reported to the IRS, if that's what you are asking.

Depending on what it is classified as then you may have to report it to the IRS. Spousal Support is taxable. Depending on what else may have been in the settlement like sale of certain properties then there may also be a tax liability.
