    New asphalt driveway?
    Greetings,

I just had my drive paved last week and while washing my car, noticed that some of the
Water seemed to soak into the surface while some ran off. Is this normal?

No, not normal at all. Can you post a close up picture? Is the pavement excessively grainy or does the white gravel show?

It seems like the pavement is comparable to others I have seen. I would like to take pictures but it just started to rain here. Will post them later. No gravel showing anywhere.

Was a permit pulled by the installer and did the city do an inspection?
