Graduation etiquette for introducing divorced parents
    Hi,

Prior to giving a valedictorian speech, how should we (my daughter's parents) be named in the introduction... Jane, the daughter of ___________)? My ex is remarried and I am not. We have been divorced 13 years.

    Thank you.

Daughter of <<<< fathers name and ***mothers name,

Just say their names, no real trick to it, Many parents don't have the same last name, no need to mention divorce.

Why are the parents named in the introduction? Is she thanking them for something? Just "Mom" and "Dad" should suffice.
