    Help
    Hey
OK, I have this friend, she has the absolute BEST voice I have ever heard!it makes me cry every time I hear her sing, but, her mom, is working two jobs and going to school, I want to help her out in her singing carrer, getting her going, but I don't know how, she doesn't have a lot of money and it breaks my heart to watch her do something she loves so much and not be able to do carry it out!

If you have anyway that you can help me...

First of course you have to see if she "wants to try and be a singer and then if she wants any help"

Next what type of music does she sing. Gospel, rap, gangster rock, county.

The first thing of course is that she should get some professional voice lessons by an expert. Even the best singers uses coaches. And what may or may not sound really great may have some wobbel or some tone issues that a professional can work with them on. Also a coach will work on their breathing to get it proper.

Then she nees to start singing in public, often this is done at open mike nights at varoius locations, at veteran homes, at nursing homes.

Then after she has some real life singing under her belt, some practice and some coaching, she will need a booking agent to start booking her dates to preform.

You can expect to spend the first few years at a loss, paying more to travel to sing than you make singing esp if you have to pay motel costs.
From there it is a matter of luck a lot of times, there are a lot of great singers, but few make it big time
