I've just been browsing through the Internet and Facebook, and I'm seeing all these ridiculous fan groups that makes me sick in the stomach. How can people like things like that. I've seen countless fan groups about how people think Black Veil Brides is the best band ever, so I looked them up on Google and almost fainted. (If you don't know them, look them up). If people actually like this kind of stuff, then the world is officially messed up.

Now, Black Veil Brides is just one of them, there are tons more of these trash in the "music world" today. These people look like a group of bloody, bruised up, drugged Satans. Sorry if I offended you (not really), but why do they have to act and present themselves like that to get attention? How could people actually LIKE things like this?

When I think about it, I get scared about how messed up the world is. If girls can think Andy Sixx is hot, then I give up. That guy looks truly Satanic with his pitch black hair that colors one of his eyes and make up that looks bloody.

*Sigh* I know some people would probably say something defensive, but this is the truth.

To each his own. I guess. I'm on the same page with you, I don't get it. It gives me the creeps. Maybe someone on here will be a fan and we can get another perspective though.

I'm a fan and it's more about the music then what they look like. I was listening to them before they got big and some people like the lead singer because of more then what he looks like. There is more to that band then the way that they look.

I am a fan I like the music I think the sound pretty good but every one likes there own music. Also not all the fans dress like them and I don't wear make up very often and my hair isn't black. Also drugged Satans Really? What kind of music do you like? Every one has different styles they are into.

If you listen to their music, it is all about never giving in, being proud of who you are and standing up for yourself which is a great message to send to teenagers which are having a hard time in life. In fact, I have no doubt that they have saved quite a few people's lives with their music. As they say, you should never judge a book by its cover.
Also, the "BVB army" (as they like to be referred to) all stick together and look after each other (for the most part) and so for those who cannot identify with others around them or do not have a family environment, the band provides a very safe and comforting group to be around because you do not get judged for who you are and everyone is accepted; which is more than some people get from their own family and “friends”.
Finally there are many forms of Satanism, all very different. However, I assume you are referring more to witchcraft or the traditional (although widely misunderstood and misjudged) side of Satanism. Which I can assure you, Black Veil Brides do not at all believe in either theodicy's (as a band). I cannot vouch for the members singularly since I do not know them personally, however I highly doubt any of them are "Satanists" as you are referring to.
Anyway, I hope that helps you to understand why people may listen to Black Veil Brides - simply for the beauty of the lyrics, the quality and technicality of the music and the family environment with an uplifting message. (I am not denying however that there may be some fans that like them simply because they find them attractive and that the band members may sometime make mistakes – but they are only human after all.)

I am a big fan and they have changed my life for the best. I used to be a person who sat in the corner who was to shy to have my say. The few friends I had stared to realise I won't stand up for myself and started to walk all over me. I got picked on at school cause I was different cause I was not brought up the same as everyone else and cause of my shyness. I thought I was the lowest of the lowest and no one cared about me. So I became an upset and misarable person who could not be the real me as I thought if I was I would get picked on even more. So I changed school and stared again but this time I pertended to be one of them. I was still shy and sad but I leared to put on a mask to hind my pain . I followed the crowd and became a sheep likeing the same thing they did .but after I heard bvb songs I stared to beleve them and slowly came out of my shell as I knew I can be who I am and should not care what others think of me they should deal with it if they can't it is they own problem.

Also I don't understand why you have a problem with how they dress they are being who they are. And loving live to the fullest like we all should. But I gest people who don`t understand it but people find being them sevles fun and entertaining. And I would like it if people shop jugeing them for what they look like cause they have had bad press cause of it. But this is like if you saw someone who was different to you whould you straight away say you don`t like them when you have not even met them.

People may fing andy hot but you have to look on YouTube and see how much of a laught he is. His personality is great and looks like he would be fun to be around . But I can say I don't like andy as I`m not a big fan on his looks as I like jinxx. As we are both shy. Although I don't like classical music like him.

Don't just judge them on how they look but actually take the time to listen to their music. It's really amazing and they have inspired me a lot and I love them so much. I don't just like the band because they're "hot", I like them because they showed me that I can be myself and not let anyone get in the way and to never give in<3(: I Love Black Veil Brides

I am a proud BVB fan. I am also an honor-roll student, junior leader in the Holy Cross Youth Group. I don't type this to talk rubbish of how great I am... I say this to put things in perspective. I don't dress in black. I don't dye my hair(it's light brown). I don't cause any trouble at home or school. I DO, however, appreciate good music, and BVB supplies it. BVB hasn't soiled my body or mind, on the contrary, their lyrics make me stop and THINK. They are NOT subliminally-messaging prayers to the devil or warping young minds. They're just guys rocking out. They say themselves that they're characters. I have provided a link below, in it, watch 4:55-5:52, if nothing else, although I highly advise you watch the whole thing, for the whole message. (Yes, I know Andy's voice is very low and sleep-inspiring, and the video is 15 min. Long, but still, you don't get his whole message without it.)
