You were dreaming... so yes it was you imagining it... that's what dreams are. Some are pleasant, and some aren't, like this one.

Are you always asleep and awoken by these voices or do you sometimes hear them in the day when you are wide awake?

Okay but it sounds so real and right in my ear next me. But okay bit more of a relief.

I suppose not all the time when I'm sleeping?

A lot of weird and wacky things happen at the edge of sleep. I have had that a few times, but not specifically what you heard. Though my tend to be more motion then audio.

If you're really concerned I would talk to your therapist about this, you're still seeing them right?

The reason that I ask and suggest that you bring it up with him is that this could be something that affects your mental well being or be caused by a medication or something like that. Talking to him and describing this could help you find a way to stop it or maybe even find something that will help you with some of the problems you've been having. This is all a interconnected mess of mind, body, and emotion.
