I hate myself and I don't know what to do. I'm supposed to go on a term abroad to China in six days and my parents (who are the best and don't deserve a pathetic daughter like me) already bought flight tickets as well as tickets for them and my brother to come meet me and then go to Vietnam in a month after my program is complete. Grades come out in two days and I know I won't be eligible to go anymore and my college will not let me go and no refunds... the whole thing is over $5,000. They have no idea that I'm such a **** up and that I ruined everything by not doing my schoolwork yet again. I am honestly considering suicide. This is just another time that I ****ed up everything for my family and I'm so stupid and horrible and I can't face letting them down again. Plus, my family is fortunate, but lately with the economy things have been rough and they chose to save up so I can do this. I hate myself. WHAT CAN I DO

You thought of suicide hurt them more than you can imagine. I think you can do better in school and get a part time job and give their money back. If you consider about that... its not the end of the life . Don't hate yourself , do something useful instead.

You should tells them before grade come out it will only be worse then. Just tell them ahead of time that you have mess up your school work and are not going to be able to takes this trip :( also you can have a plan to say 'but I already plan to... ' and think of ways u can soften the blow to them. Maybe like she said get a PT job to start paying back the monies that were put out or say you would work harder for next year trip to china.

Always,, tell the truth,, family sticks together, and forgives forever,, remember,, there is no greater love than from family,, for god sakes,, tell your parents,, TALK TO THEM ASAP!! And do NOT do anything stupid!, you are young and will make mistakes,, that certainly does not mean that you have the right to commit suicide and put your fammily through years and years of unforgettable pain,, think before you speak that word ever again in your lifetime,, you are forgiven,, just tell them!! And report back,, as I will be worried,, :)
