I have lost my hotmail account
I have lost my hotmail account (>Removed<) by typing my ID and password. I cannot have access since three months. I do know my username and password, but still unable to open it. I am kindly asking you to help me find a solution as there are very important files and documents in my email account. Please do help me on this regard. Unfortunately, I don’t remember my secret question and answer at all. Without realizing this fate, I have cancelled my alternate email ID which I provided to when registering my hotmail ID.
I hope you will kindly help activate my hotmail soonest possible. I will provide my password which I have previously used for this account.
Password: hanziboy
My present address is: >Removed<

If you waited three months... they usually delete free accounts if they remain inactuve that long.
Like I've told others... if they are that important print them out... or distribut them between several email accounts via the forward to function.

Thank you for your answer.
Well, whenever I want to sign up for another email address using the old one, it says that you can“t use this as username because this account is active, so I wonder how come this account is inactive? For your information I did not wait three months, but I kept on signing in very often, but still did not open!

So what to do next? What do you recommend me to do further, now it is to late, I cannot open my account anymore. If I had known earlier I would have forwarded to other email acounts!

THat name stays in the inactive pool for 6 months usually then it becomes available again. But the original data is history.
But literally rememer... you ge what you pay for. If you have a paid premium Hotmail account then you might get more done.
Three months... even if you guess the correct password, I'll bet there is nothing there to log into.
And morally and technically... you are responsible for backing up your own data. You DID wait three months... who do you have to blame but yourself.
Some are 30 days and its at risk. I lost one in the past too... because I didn't log in frequently enough... my fault, my responsibility.

I don't mean to blow it off that easily... but I've been in AOL's server farm back when they were growing and even after their bust... Visualise acres of servers (enough to play 8 soccer games under one roof) rack mounted 6 feet high (2 meters roughly).
Then see why they can't be expected to pull backups from months ago for a single email account out of millions. And be expected to do it for free for someone that has never paid them a dime.
I assume Microfts servers are even more expansive than AOL's are even right now.
