    how to fix tis error with Outlook express.
    The host 'SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'connect', Server: 'SMTP', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

    MOST of the time all you have to do is close your email program, re-boot your computer and it will work. Sometimes it is just that your server is working at clearing their cache and if you wait five minutes or so, it will work again. The odd time it is caused by your anti-virus program, but most of that has been fixed.

    Try re-booting and see if that works. If not, then you may have to check your settings.

Okay. I have another question if you don't mind, while I gotcha here.. lol. Every time I open Outlook Express a little box pops up that says There is no script engine for file extension ".js". What does that mean?
