Outlook won't send via Wireless
Hi I am having a problem with outlook.
I have it set up to receive and send my emails through my Yahoo account and my wanadoo account. This has all been working fine. However I have recently subscribed to Wanadoo wireless and talk and so now have a wireless connection to the internet. Since having this outlook has been receiving my mail but when I try and send a message, I immeidately get an email from SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR saying that the message was undeliverable! Outlook also will not do automatic send and receives anymore - I have to do it manually even though this was already set up and working before.
Does anyone have any ideas as I have tried a few things but to no avail!
Thanks,
Danny

What is Wanadoo wireless? There are two ways to have a wireless connection to the Internet. One is through a WiFi network connection, the other through a wireless modem. Using WiFi requires a Wireless Access Point (WAP) connected to a broadband modem via a router (Wouter and WAP could be in one device). Your PC would then have a wireless NIC.
Wireless modems are like cellular phones and use a cellular data network.
So what do you have?

Thanks for your reply.
Wireless and Talk is a new service by ISP Wanadoo - www.wanadoo.co.uk), where they provide you with an external Broadband modem/router and then also a wireless adaptor through a USP port.

Ok so its probably a DSL line. And they provide the broadband modem, the Router/WAP and the NIC. Since its all their equipment and service have you checked with their tech support? If you are using a standard 802.11 (WiFi) setup then Outlook shouldn't have a problem.

OK can we get some further info please.
1/ Can you surf via wireless OK ?
2/ which version of outlook and have you checked all the account settings ?
3/ The wanadoo router, is it always connested or do you have to connect like you used to with the old wired modem ?
Some advice, junk the USB wirless connection and get yourself a proper wireless card as they as so much more robust and once set are excellent, acting just like a real NIC.
Reply soon and we'll see what can be done.
