Outlook Express 6 shuts down when I try to print
I am using Windows XP and Outlook Express 6. When I try to print an email, either by clicking on the Print button on the toolbar or by selecting "File" and then "Print," the program immediately shuts down. I am able to print in Microsoft Explorer just fine. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried registry cleaners. I have tried Outlook Express repair programs. Nothing seems to work.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

This is a good comment. Yes, I actually downloaded the latest driver release from the Epson web site to make sure my drivers were up to date. Still no go. I am able to print from every other application without any problems. It is so mysterious to me!

OK now how are you trying to print the mail ?
Is it open at the time or just highlighted in your inbox ?
Does the same thing happen if you try either way ?

It does happen either way. When I hit the print button, the printer dialoge box appears and I select my Epson printer. It is when I hit print in that box that the program immediately shuts down. I don't get any kind of error message.

I have the exact, same problem! I even changed out printer models and still can't print from Outlook Express. Even OE filed messages won't print. I run XP pro with all updates.

I can't believe jeremywms and myself are the only two people in the world experiencing this problem!
