How do I change my outlook exp. To accept videos for sending?
Hixold asked the correct question but did not include information needed to get an answer. The file is a "quicktime movie" from 90,000 to 500,000 kb. I have the same problem with this same type of file. My outlook is not configured to allow this type of attachment and I need to change that. C

The file is too big to email and there is no way I know of how to change Outlook to accept this large a file for sending. You can however, use a link so your friend can see the same video if you did get it online. Or you can transfer to a disc and mail it to them by US mail. Or you can subscribe to an Internet File Service to send the file.

90 -500 Meg attachments, NO service allows for such a size.
There are a number of services available that will allow for this size of transfer.
Have a look at yousendit for starters.

Bear in mind this WILL takes ages as you will need to upload it first and this is always less bandwidth than your download.

This is NOT a config issue in outlook, but with your e-mail provider.
Mostly the largest single file attachment is 20 Meg, per e-mail.
So I'm sure you can do the math on a 500 Meg file.

Is there any way to send short videos (only a minute or two, often less than a minute) on email? When I've tried it doesn't go through - I don't know if it's a problem with my computer (Toshiba laptop running Window XP Pro, WI-Fi using a D-Link router), with Outlook Express, or with my ISP (Shaw).
