Wiring Instructions for A Harbor breeze Ceiling Fan With Light
I have seen something on the board about Wiring this fan type with two wires coming out of the ceiling. In this post answer the remidy was given to wire blue and black to the red and all whites to whites. My problem is I have a RED BLACK and WHITE coming from the ceiling. The fan has a White, Black and Blue coming from the Fan. How do you suggest wiring this one with the three wires coming from the ceiling?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you have 2 wall switches?
If so, then most likely the red wire is from one switch and the black wire is from the other.
If you hook (black-black, white-white, red-blue), then the switch with the red wire on it will operate the fan's light. The other switch will operate the fan.
It would be a good idea to check the voltage (black to white, and red to white) and see if you can control the two circuits individually with the switches.

    Hope this helps,
