Wiring indoor halogen lights - tandem
I have two halogen pendant lights to one switch. One light will not work. I replaced the transformer and no luck. My electrical tester is positive on the working light when the switch is on but not on the non working light. When the switch is the tester is positive on the bad light. What is wired incorrectly?

    I replaced the transformer
Not familiar with a halogen light that uses a transformer.

My electrical tester is positive on the working light
Does that mean that the meter showed voltage at the light when the switch is on?

When the switch is the tester is positive on the bad light.
When the switch is what? Want to restate that?

"When the switch is the tester is positive on the bad light"? Can you explain this sentence a little clearer?

IS this something new you just installed or something that was working and one light has failed?

Could be something miswired, or a loose connection.

Please provide photos and a wiring diagram of exactly how the switch and lights are wired.

Otherwise, based on your vague description we will only be guessing.

HK, many halogen lights are now 12 volt lamps and the fixture has a small 120 volt to 12 volt transformer built in.
