Wireless ceiling will not turn off
Just about a hour ago it was getting dark so I decided to turn on my ceiling fan( its has a fan and light) so I turn the light button on the remote and I hear the light bulb blow up, so I opened it and indeed the light bulb crack but as the bulb blew up the fan started turning and I cannot seem to turn it off... I don't think it's the remote cause I can still see the red light coming on when I press buttons, how can I turn this off?:(

I would find breaker, turn off maybe 30 seconds, try again, you could verify power to receiver and that codes match(no reason they shouldn't)You may have a bad receiver if it stays on.

Yeah, sometimes when a bulb blows it shorts something in the receiver. These are not well designed.

    What make is the fan?

Sorry to hear about your loss. Take Care
Oh yeah, you may be able to remove receiver and use a wall switch. Just because receiver may be bad, does not mean you should replace fan. Does it have pull chains?

It can be repaired if you can obtain parts, however I do not have contact information for Halsey.
