    Wireing for mobile home
    How can I find out why the white wire and the black wire are both hot in a wall plug? Can any one help me out I know a little bit about wireing.

    Probably an open neutral on that circuit. A load is causing a backfeed on the neutral.

    How did you arrive at the point where both conductors are hot?
