    Wire two lights controlled by a single switch. power to one light
    To control two ceiling lights by one wall switch. Must power come from switch?

    Power can be fed to light fixture or the switch.

    Yes to Harold's answer. The hot can be run straight through the switch or switch looped from the ceiling.
