    wire size
    What size wire should I use from the electrical meter to feed a 200 amp service panel in a 40' x 60" garage/barn? The run is about 10 feet long.

    If this is a residential application,then #2/0 copper THWN or #4/0 aluminum XHHW is allowed. There are other insulations available.The ones I mention are the typical ones used.
