    Wire and Breaker size
I am installing a steam generator for a steam shower. The unit draws 38 amps. I need a GFCI breaker. The run is 35 feet. What size wire and breaker do I need?

2 #6's for hots, #10 for ground, and a #8 for Neutral. 50 Amp GFI breaker. 3/4" Conduit.

    Is this 240V or 120/240V?
Most steam gennys I have wired were straight 240v thus requiring X/2NM cable w/ground.
In your case 6/2NM would be correct. Unless you run conduit the WHOLE way, then you can use two #8THHN with a #10 ground.
