Why will my overhead light not turn off after insallation.
I am thinking the dimmer was not wired properly. This is the first time an overhead light has gone here. Inside the outlet there are three different holes in the outlet. Two are on either lower side and one is at the top of the outlet all with wires coming out. There are red, green, black, purple, orange, brown and yellow wires. Should I assume I need to use only the wires coming out of the upper hole to work an overhead light?
